So in ❤️ with my Greenhouse!

So in ❤️ with my Greenhouse!

– Here’s a backyard story from Chesterfield, Virginia

Purchased the Greenhouse last weekend. My Husband and I put together all panels in one afternoon.

We are over 65 and 71. Second day my son and husband completed assembly even shelves while I taped windows. More like we had assembly line. Third day, all caulking everything. and voila… I have a beautiful dream greenhouse. No parts, screws or caulking missing., everything was spot on for usage. Now researching fan, thermometer and hygrometer for best results. Avid lifetime gardener and always dreamed of a greenhouse. This is superb construction.

All Ready For Spring 🌱

– Here’s a backyard story from Salem, Oregon.

I wanted a specific size with a higher minimum walk in height.

This 12 x 10 Gazebo was the best and did not disappoint. I took my time to inventory everything and watched the instructional video.

The video shows tiny details you can’t get from the instructions. I built main components over a couple of afternoons and evenings.

Then the final build assembly took about 5 hours with mostly 3 people.

Did I mention Watch the Video? Watch the Video

Once it’s all in place and adjusted it tightens up and is amazingly sturdy.

Great Product!!!

An Excellent Product (Thank you from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿)

– Here’s a backyard story from Leven, Scotland.
We purchased the Gazebo from Costco in the UK, the price and quality were our main reasons for the choice.

It arrived flat packed and putting it up was not too difficult, well worth taking time to read the instructions through a few times before starting.

We also found it useful to have both a drill and driver set with the right sized sockets, this saved hours of work with screwdrivers and wrenches.

It was definitely a 3-4 person job especially the completion of the roof and it took almost 2 days, but well worth it.

We struggled to source suitable sides in the UK, although they do seem to be available in the US, so we had bespoke canvas sides made, which definitely make a huge difference.

Just waiting on delivery of the hot-tub ♨️ now and we will be all set.

Summer Kitchen Year-Round

– Here’s a backyard story from St Augustine, Florida.
We wanted an outdoor kitchen with a gazebo roof to give us some protection from the Florida sun ☀️ and rain 🌧️.

This 12 x 14 Wood Gazebo turned out to be just what we wanted. Construction is well thought out and straight forward.

The Quality is probably better than what I could have done on my own.

We added lighting, a fan and cabinets as well as two grills, an outdoor fridge, counter mounted icebox, cabinets and drawers. It turned out better than we imagined.

We were really impressed after the construction was completed in our backyard.

Well Worth the Value

In our area we generally have very high winds several times a year and the 12 x 14 Yardistry Gazebo is proven to with stand the gust of winds we get in Southern Cali.

Well Worth the Value

We also got the bar which is a great addition. Great quality and should last us many years.

Thanks for a great product Yardistry.

Great Gazebo, well worth the price

Great Gazebo, well worth the price

– Here’s a backyard story from Belleville, IL.
Absolutely love my gazebo. Purchased the 12 x 20 Gazebo late last year and this is the first summer we have used.

This gazebo is very well engineered and extremely well crafted. Anyone purchasing this and assembling should first go out and purchased around 40 small plastic containers with lids for all the hardware.

We did and labeled each one and grouped them, this made it easy to find what we needed each time.

Also, we used four 6ft fold tables to assemble the various pieces and lined the boards on. We sorted all of the boards out in numerical order (boards had numbers stamped on end of the board) It seemed like there was thousands of pieces of everything.

Would have been very helpful if a video for this gazebo was available. However, we reviewed the video for the smaller gazebo (several times) and adjusted for mine.

We installed two small outdoor fans and lights. Also purchased the Yardistry 12′ Gazebo Bar Counter, which is very nice and useful. Added to outside fans to top and lights.

This project was very time consuming but fun and well worth it for the outcome.
Also, Yardistry people were great to work with when I had questions.

Keeps the hot sun ☀️ off in Arizona!

Keeps the hot sun ☀️ off in Arizona!

– Here’s a backyard story from sunny Arizona 🌵.
We have doubled our outdoor entertaining area in Arizona with this beautiful structure. Yardistry hit it out of the park ⚾ with the Louvered Room!

We really purchased this structure to increase the shade level in the back patio area near the pool and it certainly does the trick. We love it!

Our HOA and city have very specific rules and regulations about where we can place a pergola or gazebo structure in the back garden and the Louvered Room fit perfectly. Best yet, because the height of the structure is significantly lower than a “pointy roofed gazebo”, the city did not require us to pay extra fees nor did we have to have an inspector come out. This saved us money and made the process a lot easier.

This shows you a closeup of the louvered roof. It’s our fav feature. If it’s raining, the majority of the water runs along the edges and drains out the back. If there is torrential rain it might leak a bit. This is fine – we are more concerned about sun.

We live in Arizona and while it does rain, we were not as concerned about rain and more concerned about how to cool down our back patio when it gets extra hot outside. The Louvered Room really works well for this. It is also quite attractive and really looks great around our pool area.

If it is overly sunny we can sit beneath the pergola to visit while people are swimming. Very convenient.

One great benefit of the Louvered Room is that it enables you to open and close the louvers so if you want more sunshine you can have it, but if you want more sun protection you just keep the louvers closed.

Love the grilling space beneath the structure – we could easily place a table there when guests come over. So pretty in our Arizona garden.

When you receive the boxes of cedar lumbar and aluminum parts, it looks daunting, but the step-by-step instructions were very helpful. Although you can assemble it yourself, I highly recommend you find someone who is used to assembling things like this to assist as installation will go a lot more quickly. Laying out all the parts and organizing it all first made it a lot easier.

There is so much room beneath the structure, that we use half the space for seating, one area for grilling, and the other area for yoga. Very spacious!

In some of the reviews people complain because “it leaks”. The unit actually has a gutter system around the roof and down spouts on two of the back posts. It DOES provide protection from an average rain with no problem whatsoever. However, if you have gale force winds or a super heavy rain, some of the rain might come through the louvers, particularly if you do not have them closed tightly. We 100% did not consider this an issue of concern. WE LOVE THE LOUVERED ROOM and would get it again without hesitation as the protection it affords is fantastic on our back patio!

Love the view from one seating area over to the other seating area beneath the pergola. It gives us so much more shade protection in the hot season and looks beautiful with all the pots around!

Best outdoor shade we have on the property and it truly added a lot of beauty to our back garden. Thanks Yardistry! WE LOVE IT!

We installed and additional fan and light

We installed and additional fan and light

– Here’s a backyard story from Qualicum Beach, Vancouver Island.

We assembled a 12’ x 14’ pavilion on an octagonal concrete slab in August 2019.

To ensure the structural integrity of the mounting process I distributed the load across three rafter ties using a 1” x 8” plank and through bolts that came with the pavilion and steel angle iron as well as an additional L bracket on the centre vertical post.

It all looks like it was designed from the factory and it functions perfectly. We are very pleased with the project as a whole and we spend alot of time outside all year as a result.

*Disclaimer, modifying the original design may void the warranty.

Perfect Cover for our new spa ♨️

Perfect Cover for our new spa ♨️

– Here’s a backyard story from Plaquemine, Louisiana.

As someone who loves to work with his hands, my first inclination was to attempt construction of my own cover, but after running across the Yardistry products online the thought process changed.

With the recent price of lumber spiking in the US, this was a great value given the fact it is pre-cut, comes with all hardware, and made of cedar.

Our only issue was delivery, because our shipper wouldn’t come down our dead end street with a tractor trailer (no turn around) we had to pick up the 600 lbs. of 3 boxes ourselves.

After getting the structure home we unboxed everything and laid it out per the instructions and it made picking pieces for assembly much easier. Instructions were fairly clear and the helpful hints videos on the website were helpful. It took us a couple of days to assemble, and I only needed extra assistance when it came time to hoist the prebuilt roof panels into position. Definitely pay attention to hole patterns when assembling, as I had to remove and replace one perimeter beam due to installing upside down.

Thanks to Yardistry for a great product and I hope it lasts us a long time to come.

A Wonderful Alternative To A Custom Built Gazebo!

A Wonderful Alternative To A Custom Built Gazebo!

– Here’s a backyard story from Chesapeake, VA.

I had several contractors quote me over $10,000 to build a custom 10x10ish gazebo.

I found this 12 x 14 gazebo at Costco. It seemed like a no-brainer to give it a try. The unit came in 3 large, heavy boxes which fit nicely into my Dodge Ram 1500 (6’4″ bed). It took 3 days to set up. I would recommend downloading the instructions from the Yardistry website. I watched a few YouTube videos for some tips and tricks to make it easier.

Overall, I’m very happy with out how it turned out. Once you add some custom features like lights, fans, tvs, etc — you’ll never want to leave!
